There is a great deal of interest from national space agencies to go to the Moon and Mars. ESA wants to go to the Moon and establish a village there. NASA wants to go to Mars. Astronauts and Cosmonauts from all over the world are already living aboard the ISS. What can they do in their free time? It can’t be all about reading books or game play on computers. Think of new sports or games that could take into account the low gravity (e.g. a space lacrosse game, extreme basketball). What about real or virtual experiences involving the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon? Or following the paths of Sojourner, Spirit or Curiosity on Mars using a form of cross-country skiing? Think of new ways for to astronauts to use their free time. To present your results develop an app that makes use of virtual reality tools.

The Problem:

Astronauts may spend about 7 months , or more, inside an aircraft on their way to mars . By this time, activities that entertains them become an urgent necessity

The Validation of Problem :

in the journey the astronaut will be submited to 7 months of confinement in an enviroment that's not natural to human life, that can cause various damages such as stress,desconfort,depression and

quarrels among the crew ,those situations can impact more than we belive. Activities would be capable of generating interaction between the travellers and also it's a comprooved way to relax and forget any problems.

The Solution :

Because of that ,our project aims to develop a drone with a spherical shape , capable of doing a great number of things,one of them is to simulate the earth's gravity.

The Drone

the silver snitch is a esferic that have a set of 6 dc motors with propellers arranged perpedicularly two by two in the axis x, y, and z. And Also 4 ultrasonic sensors ( of proximity and velocity) that allows the drone move smoothly without colinding with the ship,and damage is it will be possible to create a lot of diferent types and objetives games . The system uses a Li-po 3,7 V , 300 mAh percha battery that gives 7 minutes of propulsion. The drone's movement depends of the game type. You can also create your own games modes.

Game mode 1: capture the mouse

one of the players will control the ball with a remote control in order to reach the opposite wall, however his opponent will be with a racket preventing the ball to pass , the game will last 7 minutes.

game mode 2 - Random mode

the ball will move randomly and participants must pass through their the racket to score,when the ball passes trougth the racket the sensors identify the ball and it will ligth up a L.E.D, who score 10 times first, wins.

game mode 3 - Spacenis

the racket will be fixed in a region and participants must throw the ball by using they hands.

game mode 4 - Gravity

The ball will be able to simulate the gravity of earth, so it will be able to "fall" and touch the side os the spaceship you select and simulate its wheight on earth, so the astronaut will have the feeling of holding something on earth.
