Moon Walk- An Awareness App for Kids
Develop an interactive app for children that uses smart phone and tablet sensory to locate the Moon (any time of the day, even below horizon), which unlocks current lunar data (phase, distance, etc), and then presents the user options for reading a "Moon" related story, view space agency photos and videos, and/or fun facts about the Moon. The goal of this challenge is edutainment and raising awareness about lunar missions around the world.
This app has the following attributes -->
i)it tells the user about his lattitudes and longitudes
ii)it shows the user about different mind-blogging photos of the space so as to increase the interest in the user
iii)it tells different facts about the moon and astronomy
iv)it tells u about the different landings been done from the usa in the great Apolllo MISSION and how successfull it went
The application is basically built so as to increase the interest in the upcoming generation and we could get more and more astronomical engineer . The application provides the information undr the button lunar data and the fun facts which is quite interesting to read .The app also tests ur knowledge about the astronomy and motivates u to grow and learn more in this field.
