Explanation

Hello, my name is Raza I am just 10 years old boy I am very interested in Solar System. I want to became a programmer and really send my Roby to the Moon.Thank you NASA for this great opportunity to take part in this challenge. Now I want to tell about the Earth's Moon.

4.5 billion years ago when Earth still lacked of Moon there were meteorites and comets hitting Earth. There was a planet named Theia it was a Mars-sized body. Theia headed in Earth's direction. Theia hit at an oblique angle, causing the Earth to spin faster and debris from both Theia and the Earth to fly into Orbit. When the dust settled, the debris begin to coalesced in Earth orbit, forming the Moon.

Apollo-11 on 1969 under the leadership of Neil Armstrong flied to the moon and they remained there for about 21 hours.

On 1971 Apollo-15's astronauts placed mirrors on the Moon so they could track the position of the Moon. According to NASA's information the distance between the Earth and the Moon was 384400 km.
