Space Station

Out-of-this-world fashion with function: clothing or accessories for earth or space wear!

Every space traveler – even the robotic ones – should feel? their very best during the journey, infused with the very best data and technology available. Earthlings can follow suit. Design a space data-tech-fashion wearable in the form of clothing or accessories that will collect or distribute data and technology in the following categories:

Design for Interconnectivity (staying more connected to team, community, and tools)

  • enhance the work/life experience of humans and/or capabilities of robots

Design for Health (biometrics, physical and emotional health, and/or environmental alerts)

  • maintain or improve the health and well-being of the human
  • provide early warning for unhealthy environmental factors (air quality, radiation, outgassing, temperature)

Design for Entertainment (sights, sounds, music, activity)

  • enhance the human experience whether during work or play
Explanation

Project description

Spacesuits their design have not changed in years. Since 1969 the first trip to the moon changes spacesuits to a minimum has been way having the same old concept despite the modern changes for life outside of planet earth. Being on the international space station there is much work to be done outside the ship, such repairs are risky because to go to outer space have limitations as are searching for solutions manuals having to ask for help a partner and have to leave again making the expense of oxygen and exposed to the atmosphere in that place.

TITAN DHARMA solves that problem by redesigning parts of the suit astronaut where using sensors can perform monitoring augmented reality and virtual reality live in the countryside where you are working directly showing on a screen oled data within an interface that will be implemented in the suit helmet having the possibility to manipulate the options and generate greater and effective communications through the interaction of sensors specially adapted for handling astronaut suit embedded as part of the forearm.

The suit will feature indicators important data to implement a mode advanced fellowship when displaying data as breathing levels in real time as well as breathing the same partner indicated by LEDs always having useful information being helpful to provide emergency assistance when these have important vital signs or notice any irregularity

Resources Used

The resources used for the prototype are:

Two arduino uno boards only for the first version of the prototype, in the final prototype we need a costumize arduino board.
