Buck Rogers aside, Mars is an interesting environment for out-of-this-world mobility options for an explorer. This challenge asks for the definition of a conceptual mobility solution to allow an astronaut to easily and rapidly explore Mars including overcoming obstacles such as cliffs, ravines and other difficult terrain. The solution should be person-portable and any means or source of propulsion be locally produced.

This challenge can be answered by:

  • producing an app to simulate your adventures in building your jet pack and flying around Mars;
  • produce an app that provides the local gravity, atmospheric conditions (density, weather, anything-else-of-interest) to help decide what is needed for your jet pack design;
  • perform a feasibility/conceptual study of an actual jet pack design that could use potential Mars fuel sources; or Design and Demonstrate a model scale jet pack using hardware.

Mars exploration is among the future projects of humans."Mars Exploration" is a machine app like jet set pack that uses the conceptual and virtual simulation environment for an astronaut to exploring the mars.It is the best solution than para-glider and exoskeleton because para-glider only work under standard weather conditions and circumstances like on Earth.

My device is almost dependent on solar power system as there are insufficient availability of fuel on mars except hydrogen and methane.This machine help the explorers and astronauts to explore as well as survive in the sticky weather of mars.This machine provides the following features to users and explorers:

  • It has already some info in its memory that is stored by the developer like info about mars,Gravitational force and its value and some Artificial intelligence features.
  • It has sensors that uses scientific methods for finding the heights of cliffs, distance of surface of mars from any level in air,a temperature sensor to find the weather,pressure on mars,density of different objects and some vision and detection features.
  • It also uses hydrogen gas as a fuel in absence of sun light and also has a light sensors to use the vision capabilities at night.
  • The pressure is low on mars.
