DroneX received a Global Nomination.
Create an app that will enable small drone operators to know more about specific weather parameters, local terrain and no fly zones within a five-mile radius of their GPS location.
DroneX
It's about saving drones by building two things:
First part (Mobile app):
A mobile application that helps players to avoid crashing their drones, by providing instant advices and significant data within a five-mile radius about no-fly zone areas, and weather changes, that affects their control of drones, issues like quick winds, pressure, temperature ... etc
Our application will depend on Parrot AR.DRONE Flight Recorder to connect with drone and using its open source library to integrate. This device using MAVLink protocol for communicating with drone.
Weather information and related data will be collected using Open weather API and Nasa API after get Drone location by GPS.
Second part (Smart bot):
Application will not only depend on weather information and instant advices, a smart bot will be next core feature that will improve advantages of application, by collecting and processing data, in result more accurate notification, advices depend on drone area and previous experience, and that will be like network of a connected drones contribute in building a better source of metadata, to help.
