Tellmeweather received a Global Nomination.
Develop an app or platform to crowd-source information for comparing changes in environmental factors, such as temperature, relative humidity, air pollution, with occurrence of symptoms of allergies and respiratory diseases. Create tools for public entry and grading of symptoms, including but not limited to cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, sneezing, nasal obstruction, itchy eyes; and geographic mapping of symptom frequency and intensity. Create a platform for comparison of symptom map with NASA provided data, with visualization options for web and/or smart phone.
Climate problems being major challenges of the current world, especially in Africa, Tellmeweather joins in the logic to bring a preventive solution to the African populations in front of problem of the unsafe atmosphere.
Indeed, Tellmeweather is a Web platform which intervenes in the field of the health. It supplies, in real time, to the user according to his geographical location the information relative to his environment (Air quality, Ash Plumes, Dust Storms, Fires, Relative humidity, ...) and prevents him of various diseases which he incurs.
The added value of this app is that it also offers the symptoms of these various diseases and treatment necessities.
