Develop an app or platform to crowd-source information for comparing changes in environmental factors, such as temperature, relative humidity, air pollution, with occurrence of symptoms of allergies and respiratory diseases. Create tools for public entry and grading of symptoms, including but not limited to cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, sneezing, nasal obstruction, itchy eyes; and geographic mapping of symptom frequency and intensity. Create a platform for comparison of symptom map with NASA provided data, with visualization options for web and/or smart phone.

MOBILE APP

Users of the application:

• TO REGISTER: Date and Time, Latitude and longitude, Symptom, Intensity.
• RECEIVING: Notifications on environmental factors, whose variation affects the appearance of the symptoms presented, accompanied by a brief presentation of human actions that cause variations in environmental factors (emission of greenhouse gases, etc.)

WEB PLATAFORM

Web platform with access restricted to specialists, which allows visualization and analysis of the collected data for a time interval Access:

  • HISTORICAL CONSULTATION viewing and downloading the corresponding symptoms and sought factors recorded in the selected time interval information is allowed.
  • MAPPING DATA: plotting is permitted according to the geographic location of the requested reports symptoms for the selected time interval.
• ANALYSIS OF DATA
  
  • CORRELATION ANALYSIS: the values of the indicators associated with environmental factors and reports of symptoms associated with respiratory diseases: identification of timeslots presenting correlations between allowed.
  • CONSULTATION OF FORECASTS: The platform has modules series analysis while enabling the formulation of forecasts for both reports symptoms (total) as factors.

OUR PURPOSE

• Raise awareness about caring for the environment: Users of the application will provide vital information for the platform, but also receive notifications impact of changes of environmental factors on health, accompanied by a brief explanation of the most common causes of these variations (emission of greenhouse gases, etc.).
• Promote the work of analysis: Many initiatives focus on collecting information, however stored information is not much use if you do not work with it.
