Pastoralism Life

Help pastoralist communities around the world preserve their livelihood, by providing them access to information and resources (e.g grass land, water, safe routes) to prepare and support their migration journey.

The objective of the project is to design a working prototype for a mobile application which provides pastoralists community with information on land monitoring: water availability, grassland, and assist communities in networking.

We the team "first ATTEMPT" with the project entitled "Pastoralism Life", trying to help the pastoralist communities to communicate and provide the needy information in a network around the world.

We are developing an apps for smartphones and a website to provide simple and straightforward advices to preserve their livelihood, by providing them access to information and resources to prepare and support their migration journey.

Our apps and the web have the certain features:

-check the availability or the status of the land,

-give guide for the safe routes,

-provide information about grassland, water, weather, possible diseases, market points, land rights, natural disasters.

More importantly, a pastors who have visited the places can update the present status of that place.
