LinFun - Immerse World received a Global Nomination.
There is a great deal of interest from national space agencies to go to the Moon and Mars. ESA wants to go to the Moon and establish a village there. NASA wants to go to Mars. Astronauts and Cosmonauts from all over the world are already living aboard the ISS. What can they do in their free time? It can’t be all about reading books or game play on computers. Think of new sports or games that could take into account the low gravity (e.g. a space lacrosse game, extreme basketball). What about real or virtual experiences involving the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon? Or following the paths of Sojourner, Spirit or Curiosity on Mars using a form of cross-country skiing? Think of new ways for to astronauts to use their free time. To present your results develop an app that makes use of virtual reality tools.
We bring to you a unique way of exerience where ever you might be, space or at home, or anywhere!
(But the best experience is of course in space).
Combining existing technologies (virtual and augmented reality), with databases
(like NOAAS deep sea exploration and personal music librares), we open a path to a whole new 4D-world of fun.
In a compact way (you can for example use your mobile device)paired with visual items, like Google glass and other visual VR/AR devices.
Come in to our Space Sea World, where you can swim (this is better experienced in space) with interactive seaworld;
you can either swim around, play tag or why not harpoon fish?
Perhaps the under waterworld is not your thing, maybe you would rather play our Twister tap dance!
Get your sweat up and work your body while having fun! In our version of this game you get to experience a virtual
reality using a mix of the classical game of Twister and the following colorgames; Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero etc.
Or maybe all you want is a near Star-Trek Holo experience of a place close to your heart; a Sunset, a garden, or a stroll in a
forest. In our holodeck you choose the experience you like.
Regular games can become boring with time, so the idea here is making games more immersive and more dynamic over extended periods of time.
And best of all, this solution can be adapted for both single individuals or groups; the sky (or sea) is the limit!
