Zero-G Drill Game and Astronaut Security

THE CHALLENGE: Space Recreation
Journey to Mars

There is a great deal of interest from national space agencies to go to the Moon and Mars. ESA wants to go to the Moon and establish a village there. NASA wants to go to Mars. Astronauts and Cosmonauts from all over the world are already living aboard the ISS. What can they do in their free time? It can’t be all about reading books or game play on computers. Think of new sports or games that could take into account the low gravity (e.g. a space lacrosse game, extreme basketball). What about real or virtual experiences involving the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon? Or following the paths of Sojourner, Spirit or Curiosity on Mars using a form of cross-country skiing? Think of new ways for to astronauts to use their free time. To present your results develop an app that makes use of virtual reality tools.

Explanation

The Name of our project is Zero-G Drill Game and Astronaut Security. We are making Drill games for the Astronauts.. Here we using drill type games here because, this drill will teach them to operate smoothly in tense situation and it will help them for recreation as well. We are also making sure that all the astronauts stay safe while playing this Drill games. we have made a security system for this game as well. This game can be played inside ISS or Shuttle , It can Also be played outside of ISS. We are using RFI Sensor to range the area, where the astronauts will operate their drill games. The astronauts will be tagged with Radio Tagging frequency tracker to mark their position. If the astronauts gets drifts away from the ranged area....The the alarm will be triggered automatically and it will activate the Electromagnetic field and pull the astronauts inside the safe zone again. In this way we can prevent the astronauts from drifting away....

Resources Used

In our project we are using motion sensor to detect floating object inside ISS... Laser box game simulator where Astronauts will improve their drifting skills. RFI Sensor to range the area outside of ISS, The astronauts will be tagged with Radio Tagging frequency tracker to mark their position. We will use Electromagnetic field and pull the astronauts inside the safe zone , if the astronauts get drift away from ISS.
