Children Moon
Develop an interactive app for children that uses smart phone and tablet sensory to locate the Moon (any time of the day, even below horizon), which unlocks current lunar data (phase, distance, etc), and then presents the user options for reading a "Moon" related story, view space agency photos and videos, and/or fun facts about the Moon. The goal of this challenge is edutainment and raising awareness about lunar missions around the world.
Children moon, as its name tells, is an educational interactive mobile app designed for children to offer them a simpler and more enjoyable learning experience about the moon. It includes 4 sections: Know the moon better, which consists of several basic informations and illustrative images about the moon, Fun facts, which includes 10 interesting moon facts, a quizz about the moon which will help children test their knowledge, and last but not least, a tool which helps children know the moon's informations depending on their current location and date in the earth. It automatically gets the user location and date and send them to www.mooncalc.org which diplays the moon distance, phase and more other interesting informations.
