For this challenge, we invite you to become "virtual contributors" to the Asteroid Grand Challenge and develop a hypothetical method, concept note or simple prototype that demonstrates how Machine Learning could be used to help us avoid the same fate as the dinosaurs.

Explanation
We are working on the identification of NEA's physical characteristics in order to predict consequences of impact, and predict damage scale.
We have analyzed Asteroids Light curve Database and have built a model which will tell you (on the basis of short piece of light curve of newly discovered hazardous object) what asteroid is similar to it due to its light curve characteristics (obtained by Fourier Decomposition). The probability of explosion, burning or destruction is bigger in case of asymmetrical form of the asteroid. This approach also can be used for identification of other physical characteristics of hazardous objects which can be obtained from the light curve, because our main purpose was to built a model which can find the most similar light curve.
