THE CHALLENGE: Virtual Auroras
Space Station

Develop virtual reality viewers using International Space Station video feeds, Aurorasaurus or other camera data that features views of the northern lights, or gives users other virtual experiences of viewing the Earth from the International Space Station.

Explanation

Eos is a Virtual Reality app that is aimed to immerse the user in a breathtaking experience through putting them in Aurora sightings from the International space station from different dates and locations.

By viewing the event in 360 it become even more interesting and it can open the mind on new ideas.

Furthermore development can add a star maps and georeferenced images pre-rendered or even on the fly through Python modules like Astropy or Auromat to turn it into a field study VR experience.
