Common Land Units (CLUs) are typically used as field boundaries. However, CLUs are constructed around one use case (insurance) and may not reflect a farmer's true field or field partition. Furthermore, since CLUs are tied to crop insurance, they do not span the entire Earth (or even the United States). Because of this, farmers often times need to create their own field boundaries manually. This project aims to generate field boundaries automatically using machine (planter, applicator, harvester) data. Farmers often collect these data, which are underutilized.
