The Nasa Space Apps Challenge offer 25 challenges in six categories. Teams of two to six people will have 48 hours to complete a challenge using data from NASA and the talents of participants. Teams may select their challenge ahead of time, make plans, and organize resources. The actual work should be saved for the 48 hours of this event. Mentors will be present to help teams with their concept, plan accordingly, and trouble-shoot. Upon the completion of the weekend, teams will present their projects to those in attendance and prizes will be awarded.

Event Information

We will use theClubhou.se at 540 Telfair Street as the base of operations. Teams will gather at 5:00pm on Friday April 22nd to discuss plans and meet mentors.

Bring all the resources you may need (laptops, notebooks, phone, camera, etc.) Dress comfortably. Snacks and beverages will be provided, though feel free to bring preferred food and drinks.

This event is open to everyone, children and adults. Children under 16 will need an accompanying adult.

Understand, this is not just for coders. Problem solvers and creative thinkers are necessary as well. And designers. And mathematicians. And writers. Simply put, everyone is welcome to come and collaborate on solutions for the challenges.
