NASA is on a mission to foster innovation around challenges affecting us at home and in space. As one of the world's largest international annual (free!) hackathons, Space Apps is designed for thinkers, tinkerers, and problem solvers.

Savvy Dubai & N. Emirates residents of all ages skilled in technology, engineering, design, media and more are invited to come together to help solve global challenges relevant to both space exploration and greater needs of societies on Earth.

Event Information

Running from Friday, 22nd midnite (i.e. right after Thursday 11:59pm!) til midnite on 24th (i.e. Saturday just after 11:59pm), full 48 hours of non-stop developer and designer action.

Spaces are limited and registration is free (you must bring your own equipment, snacks/food/refreshments or you may purchase on site).

FRI, April 22, 12am space apps challenge blasts off!

SUN, April 24, 12:00am come i for a landing and splash down and all apps and supporting materials, resources need to be uploaded to the designated Space Apps online location (to be provided prior).

SUN, April 24, 9am-5pm Judging will take place. Judging Panel to be announced April 20th.
