Once again, AmCham TPS Junior Chapter is bringing together skilled people with different backgrounds, for an event filled with creative, competitive and collaborative spirits.

This time, we are hosting the first edition of NASA's International Space Apps Challenge La Marsa on the weekend of the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of April, 2016 at Tunisia Polytechnic School, La Marsa.



Space Apps is a NASA incubator innovation program. NASA believes that mass collaboration is key to creating and discovering state-of-the-art technology. Whether you are a designer, software developer, technologist or simply have an enthusiasm for solving problems, The International Space Apps Challenge aims to engage YOU in collaborative problem solving using robotics, data visualization, hardware, design and especially YOUR way of addressing innovative solutions to real-world issues, on Earth and in space. The challenges of this year broken into six categories: Aeronautics, International Space Station, Solar System & Beyond, Technology, Earth and the Journey to Mars. More details will be posted by Nasa on the 22nd of March, 2016.
At the event, and with the support of mentors, you and your team will be focused on solving a particular challenge, by using publicly available data to create your own creative solution, while competing with other teams in more than 150 locations around the world.



The first two winning teams of this event will carry on this international challenge by submitting their projects to Nasa, that will select the final champion.
