GeoAnalysis Drone

Collect and develop geotagged information about local ties to space and aviation to incorporate within geo-based games/web applications/tools. Many apps and programs exist that allow users to input information about a location that corresponds to the real world. Public information and historical space events could be added to the location within the program. While exploring a new region, users can learning new facts about how the community played a role in new scientific discoveries or innovations in aviation or spaceflight.

We created a solution that makes farming more water effiecient . We modified our drone in a few ways to better suit our solution, including the feature of waypoints an amazon echo, which allows users to tell the echo to send the drone to a location. With this waypoint set, the drone autonomously flies and lands at the desired location. At the site and during flight, our photon reads and sends recordings back with data such as temperature, air pressure, humidity, and even soil moisture which is recorded when the drone lands. If desired the user can also choose to drop a Tile, for later inspection of the land. All this allows the user to see the location through his/her phone and see relevant data collected and sent back by the photon.
