GeoNASA Exploration

Collect and develop geotagged information about local ties to space and aviation to incorporate within geo-based games/web applications/tools. Many apps and programs exist that allow users to input information about a location that corresponds to the real world. Public information and historical space events could be added to the location within the program. While exploring a new region, users can learning new facts about how the community played a role in new scientific discoveries or innovations in aviation or spaceflight.

We develop a web application to Represent (Tag) members, history and antecedents of the Space Community for learning, heritage & prosperity. The objective was to get šSpace Community Enthusiasts like us to look up and be motivated to know, see and probably visit the district that encompass the Space Colony. To do this, we coined the P.E.E.P (People, Events, Exhibitions, Places) framework to reflect our focus in representing this important elements of the community. We anticipate the solution to be an extention (or add-on) or a complete alternative to Field Trip App as we intend to have mobile Apps from it in its improved state.The future of the solution is in multitudes, we envision an open database based on the contribution of users and affiliates to the database given that part of the challenges we faced was finding an API for this task which was evidently unavailable.

The game as well as the other challenges gives a commercial opportunity in the future for the app.
