Welcome to Space Apps Glasgow 2016!


This will be the 4th year ISAC has been held in Glasgow, and the 2nd at GCU with the help of the Ethical Hacking Society.


What is Space Apps Glasgow?

Space Apps Glasgow is a weekend long event where people come together to collaborate on tackling challenges put forward by NASA. Any skill level and discipline can find a way to contribute to a project tackling one of the challenges, and the best teams are usually made up of people with a varied skillset and background. Inclusion is key.

    • Recording equipment will be in operation during this event. We take your attendance as consent to be recorded

    • Bring your own Devices
    • Power strips and WiFi provided
    • Courtesy of IBM Bluemix, these nifty Development Boards will be available for use with projects
    • Try out IBM Bluemix with this extended trial and free credit. Check in with our on site IBM mentors who can help guide you in applying the power of IBM's platform to your Project.
    • The Projector will be able to take VGA and HDMI inputs, any other adapters will need to be brought by yourself
    • nVidia GPU Resources - Tutorails, Videos and free credit, ask an helper to find out more
    • AWS Activate credit - Note that credits do NOT apply towards the purchase of reserved instances. Also, if you already have a code on your account, you will have to wait until it expires to get a new one.
