Registration for Space Apps is Open

Please join us virtually for Space Apps 2016. You can put together your own team, or virtually team with others. First, browse the challenges and find your favorite. Once you've selected your challenge, you can team up and create your project page from your chosen challenge page.

Event Information

You have three options for teaming:
1) Create your own team -- You can design a potential solution to the challenge, gather your friends and colleagues, open up a project page from the Challenge page, and get started.
2) Ask for team members -- You can design a potential solution to your favorite challenge, post a message on that challenge page with your idea, and ask for a list of skills you think you need to complete your project. Once you connect to other teammates, you'll open up your project page from the button located on the Challenge page, and get started.
3) Join another team -- You like a challenge but don't have a solution in mind, so you post a message on your favorite challenge page listing your skills and interests.

In each of these options, you'll be working from the Challenge page of your choice. If you don't have a challenge in mind and want to make yourself available for any challenge, contact us and we'll help connect you with a team of your peers to create an award-winning project solution.

You can keep tabs on main stage events through our live-stream which will be located on the Space Apps home page throughout the event weekend.

For judging, the NASA team will review your virtual projects to select two global nominees and one People's Choice nominee. If your team is selected, you will have until Friday, April 29th to complete your 30 second video and load it onto your project page for judging. [Remember, having a storytelling/artist/design on your team helps give your solution a better chance of moving forward in the judging process.]

We look forward to seeing what you create at Space Apps 2016!
