Join us during the weekend of April 22-24 for an intense weekend of collaborative work, happening simultaneously in over 170 cities around the world!

Organized in Rome by the European Space Agency, the Italian Space Agency, the United States Embassy and La Sapienza University, the NASA Space Apps Challenge aims at producing open-source solutions to global challenges that are relevant to both life on Earth and life in space.

LA PARTECIPAZIONE È GRATUITA: e APERTA a tutte le categorie e a tutte le età: sviluppatori, disegnatori, imprenditori, ingegneri, studenti di ogni grado e semplici appassionati di scienza e tecnologia.

I PASTI SONO OFFERTI: dal pranzo del sabato al pranzo della domenica.

PER DORMIRE: se vuoi lavorare anche sabato notte, porta il tuo sacco a pelo e lo stuoino. L’università offre uno spazio limitato per sistemarsi, ma si dorme letteralmente sul pavimento!

IL PROGRAMMA: venerdì 22 aprile alle 17:00 l’apertura e cocktail presso la stessa Facoltà.

Non mancare alla conferenza stampa e al cocktail!!!

Si lavora da sabato 23 alle ore 9.00 fino alla domenica pomeriggio. Alle ore 19.00 saranno annunciati i 3 vincitori locali e i 2 progetti che verranno inviati alla NASA per la competizione globale

LE CHALLENGES: è importante SCEGLIERE UNA CHALLENGE tra quelle proposte che puoi vedere qui: https://2016.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges

SQUADRA: puoi formare un team in ogni momento a cominciare da ora o il giorno stesso dell’hackathon! Puoi scegliere subito su quale challenge lavorare e poi cercare collaboratori scrivendo sull’hackpad della challenge.

LINGUA almeno una persona nel tuo team deve avere buona conoscenza dell’inglese. Tutte le informazioni sulle challenges sono in inglese e il progetto finale dovrà essere presentato in inglese sia per la selezione locale la domenica pomeriggio che per quella globale

PREMI: ci saranno tre vincitori locali.

Welcome to the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2016!

TO PARTICIPATE, you must register at the Rome location page!

PARTICIPATION IS FREE and OPEN in all categories – developers, designers, entrepreneurs, engineers, students and science and technology lovers.

MEALS ARE OFFERED from lunch on Saturday to lunch on Sunday.

TO SLEEP should you wish to work all night on Saturday, bring your own bedsack and pad. The university has kindly offered space where you can lie down (literally on the floor)

THE AGENDA: Friday April 22 at 5pm, opening and cocktail at the same Faculty of Engineering

Don’t miss the press conference and the cocktail!!!

Works start Saturday at 9am to Sunday evening.At 7pm we announce the three local winners and the two projects which will be forwarded to NASA for the global competition.

TEAM you can form a team anytime, starting today or on game day. If you want to start now, pick a challenge and then write on the challenge’s hackpad and ask for collaboration

• 19:00-20:30 orario di apertura mensa per la cena.

Per motivi di sicurezza si ricorda a chi volesse lavorare durante la notte del sabato, di registrarsi e comunicare la propria presenza al personale dell’università. Gli spazi a disposizione saranno delimitati e i locali esterni all’area dedicata, allarmati e collegati al vicino posto di polizia.
